SAFETY MANAGER

To join their team and ensure compliance with local safety regulations and workplace safety protocols across various construction sites in Barcelona, Spain. With a strong presence in the global market, the company provides safe and reliable construction solutions to its clients.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and enforce health and safety policies and procedures on construction projects.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with local safety regulations and industry standards.
• Organize and lead safety training programs for employees and contractors.
• Perform risk assessments and recommend measures to mitigate potential hazards.
• Monitor and ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety gear.
• Investigate workplace accidents and incidents, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
• Maintain safety records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and OHSAS safety standards.
• Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to address safety concerns and implement solutions.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to maintain a safe working environment for all workers.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree or official studies in Occupational Risk Prevention (ORP) or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in safety, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, or related fields.
• Proven experience in occupational health and safety roles, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and OHSAS.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to lead safety programs effectively.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and mitigate risks efficiently.
• Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and maintain safety standards across multiple projects.
